Last Saturday I was playing with a new set from Penny Black that I just bought, Flower Festival. I tried a technique I've been seeing lately... stamping and embossing the image in white before coloring. I love the soft look of this style.
For this card, I stamped the same flower the traditional way (with black ink). See the difference?
My favorite part? I can get two totally different looks from the same stamp! Now that is being economical! LOLI'm off to enjoy my morning and do a bit of stamping. See you soon!

I absolutely love the white embossing - but that not to say that the other card is just a beautiful. This stamp sure can brighten up someone's day. I love it when you have your stamping Saturday's !
you know, i've done the black embossing a lot, never thought to try white embossing! your cards are both adorable, hb:) thanks for sharing this idea--i'll give it a try!
