Treasured Friend

I guess you could say this is a non-traditional Valentine. :) I pared Warm Happiness Too with Simple Valentine (both PTI).

The red hearts are stamped in red and then the solid hearts colored with a red Spica glitter pen (gotta have the shimmer!).

I just LOVE this sentiment - it is so so true. It is stamped on a Spellbinder's tag and tied with a sheer black ribbon (Michael's).

Hope you are keeping warm (it is c-c-c-old here in MN!)

Just a little note

Sometimes, you need a cute little card just to say "I miss you" or "your face came across my minds eye today" or "I heard your laugh in my head today"... you get the idea.

This image from Pure Innocence (digistamp) from fits that theme perfectly!

The papers are Basic Grey (Hopscotch line), dies are Spellbinders and ribbon is Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for stopping by!

You make my heart sing...

When I got the new Little Bitty Bird set (PTI) I had this idea pop into my head for my Valentine's Day cards. I remembered that Simple Valentine (PTI) had a stamp that was varying sizes of hearts and I could use them to make the little bird sing!

I stamped the bird and then the little hearts "singing" out of it's beak. The bird is paper pieced (Jillibean Soup) and the hearts are glitterfied with red glitter. The tree is colored with Copic markers. Not finding the perfect sentiment in my plethora of stamps (shocking, I know!), I created the wording on the computer and printed it out on cardstock.

The first card was packaged up and sent to our granddaughters (along with fun treat bags, of course).

Here's the amazing thing... I have my Valentine's Day cards done and it's only January 23rd. Now what?

Happy Everything

Hi friends! I'm just ending a wonderful, relaxing weekend spent stamping with friends. Oh how I love to create with fun conversations and inspiration all around.

Here's one of the cards I made featuring a Whipper Snapper image that my friend Lana gave me. I love that fat, little bee.

The sentiment is from Little Bitty Bird (Papertrey Ink) and the paper from Jillibean Soup.

I hope you had a fun and creative weekend!

Christmas Thank-you's

Hey everyone! The holidays are packed up and put away and it's time to dust off the ink and rubber!

I've had a quiet Sunday afternoon getting reacquainted with my stamp table and made some much needed thank you cards.

I used 2 patterns (2 of each) from Mitten Weather (Cosmo Cricket) mini deck and was able to make 6 cards - 2 of each layout. That's a lot of 2's. lol

On this card I used a red Viva Pearl Pen to put berries on the tree. LOVE that stuff. Sets used: Beyond Basic Borders (PTI) and Treasure to Me (Unity).

This card (and the similar one) uses Mat Stack 2 and Everyday Classics (limited edition) along with Mat Stack 2 and Limitless Layers dies (all PTI).

The heart is a Cuttlebug die and embossing folder.
I'm excited to be stamping again and can't wait to show you more. Hope you stop by again!
