Last Saturday I was playing with a new set from Penny Black that I just bought, Flower Festival. I tried a technique I've been seeing lately... stamping and embossing the image in white before coloring. I love the soft look of this style.

I stamped the mason jar and two butterflies on white cardstock and cut it out. After coloring (with Copics) I stamped the jar again on vellum and glued it over the top. It makes the butterflies look like they are inside the jar. I used gold metallic rub-on for the jar rim.
The sentiment is Papertrey, papers are all My Minds Eye and the ticket die is My Favorite Things.
Thanks for stopping by, I really do appreciate it!'Elise has a birthday coming up, she's going to be 5! OMGosh how the time flies! Anyway.. I thought this stamp would be perfect for her card.
Papers are from WR Memory Keepers and Echo Park. All the glitter (believe me, there's a lot!) is Martha Stewart.
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
