Last week I sat there looking at this adorable new Hero Arts mini set, the one that I've been searching everywhere for, and nothing sparked. Nothing. Nada. Zip. I knew if I could just come up with a layout, everything would start to flow (ok. I didn't really *know*, but I was sure hoping hard!)
I finally turned to the amazing Beate and her fabulous layout challenges. And it worked!
This one is her Friday sketch # WSC64. I LOVE this layout and I know I'll come back to it often. I stamped the cute little critter angel on PTI Kraft in black, filled in the wings with white craft ink using a mini sponge applicator and then covered them with glitter.
I used a round Nestability to cut out the circle and edged it with white craft in. The polka dot strip is PTI Kraft embossed with the CB Swiss Dots folder and I then ran the white craft ink pad lightly over the top.
The next started out as a Christmas ATC for a swap, but it just didn't look right. Again, I reached out to Beate's fabulous blog for an idea as to how to use a 2.5 x 3.5 image on a card.
So, now that the holiday is over... and a tiny bit of mojo has returned, I may have some more things to share with you! ;o)
Thanks for stopping by! I sure do enjoy it when you visit!
