Each holiday I make a little something for my team at work. I have a relatively young team, so it surprises me that many of them have a collection of the treat boxes/cards they've received sitting on their desk. It cracks me up.
For this year's Valentine's treats I pushed myself to NOT buy a die or template to make the container. It took a bit of sitting and pondering and digging through my stuff, but I'm happy with how they turned out!

I cut a strip of cardstock 3.5 x 11 and scored at 4.5 and 6.5. Then, carefully holding the top ends together, I place the open edge on the
PTI edger #3 die, held it in place with
Eclipse tape (LOVE that stuff!) and ran it through my Big Shot just up to where the fold starts so I didn't flatten the whole thing.
I used papers from My Minds Eye
Love Me collection and Echo Park
Yours Truly.
The words on the tag are from two PTI sets,
happy from
Rustic Snowflakes and
day from
Paper Tray with a glitter heart sticker on a piece of foam tape in between.

For the heart I glued paper to a lightweight coaster and die cut with a Sizzix heart die. I find it works so much better to attach the paper to the coaster first vs after die cutting. The heart is edged with a little shimmer from a sparklie Gelly Roll pen. (I left this photo a little darker so the shimmer would show)
Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday! Are you stamping???
